During the past five years of the war, the Houthis seized Saudi lands with hundreds of missiles and drones that have dealt painful economic and political strikes to the kingdom's authorities.

The most painful Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia were the drones that last year targeted two Aramco oil factories in Abqaiq and the strikes affected the production of about five million barrels of oil per day.

The following are the most prominent of these attacks since the beginning of the Saudi-Emirati war in Yemen:

The first missile to reach Saudi territory
was the first Houthi missile to reach Saudi territory on June 6, 2015; Where Riyadh announced its day to counter a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis towards the Kingdom, which is the first missile to reach Saudi territory since the launch of Operation "Storm Storm".

King Fahd Air Force Base targeted in Taif
On October 28, 2016, the Houthis targeted a long-range missile, King Fahd Air Force Base in Taif.

The first missile to reach the sky of Riyadh
on November 5, 2017. The Houthis launched a missile at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

Targeting two oil pumping stations
The year 2019 witnessed the most intense Houthi attack on Saudi Arabia, using ballistic missiles and drones, and many of them targeted sites in the south of the Kingdom, most notably on May 14, and targeted two oil pumping stations from the east to the west with mined drones.

Abha airport targeted
On June 12, 2019, the Houthis announced the launch of a "cruise" missile at Abha airport, which landed in the passenger terminal.

Shiba oil field targeted
On August 17, the Houthis announced the targeting of the Shaybah oil field in eastern Saudi Arabia with mined drones.

10 missiles launched at Jizan airport
On August 25, the Houthis announced the launch of ten missiles at Jizan airport in the south of the kingdom.

Targeting two oil factories in Abqaiq
On September 14, 2019, the Houthis announced the targeting of two Aramco oil plants in Abqaiq, and the attacks affected the production of about five million barrels of oil per day, which is about half of Saudi Arabia's crude production. This was the kingdom's biggest blow.

Ballistic missile launched
on December 27, 2019, the Houthis announced the launch of a ballistic missile towards the command headquarters of the 19th Brigade of the Saudi Border Guard at Bir Askar in Najran, in the south of the Kingdom.

Targeting Aramco facilities
On February 21, the Houthis announced targeting Saudi Aramco company facilities in the city of Yanbu, on the Red Sea coast, using 12 drones and three missiles.
