Issam Karika attacks the Shaima festival: "A trivial trend"

Egyptian singer and composer Essam Karika attacked the "Shaimaa" festival, which has spread recently, and said: "A trivial trend, and anyone can come and do it."

Karika mocked the festival, saying: "May I rise in the morning and say I will kill you, Najla, is this a success?"

According to the Egyptian newspaper Al-Watan, Karika's statements came during a meeting with the journalist Nizar Al-Faris on the Iraqi Al-Rasheed channel. During the episode, Karika also said that Kazem Al-Saher's voice is the strongest in the Arab world, as compared to two other names, namely George Wassouf and Amr Diab.
