Local media reported that cases of mutant virus infections originating in Brazil and Chile were confirmed in Israel, where more than 50% of the population had been vaccinated against COVID-19.

The Israeli Ministry of Health says it has confirmed two cases of mutant virus infections from Brazil and one case of mutant virus infections from Chile.



Those infected with these mutant viruses are those who have recently returned from overseas travel.



They are all known to have traveled abroad with vaccinations.



In addition, the Ministry of Health said that 19 cases of mutant virus infection from India were recently added, and a total of 60 cases have been confirmed so far.
