The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the possibility for women, who are under 45 years old, to perform Umrah without a Mahram.
The ministry said: It is allowed for women of that age to perform Umrah and issue a visa, and they are not obligated to a mahram or a group of women.
The ministry’s clarification came in response to a query from a person about the possibility of a woman under the age of 45 performing Umrah without a mahram.
