Burnt veils, repressions, tensions… A wind of protest has been blowing in Iran for ten days, following the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old young woman arrested on September 13 by the morality police judging that her veil didn't cover her hair enough.
Three days after her arrest, she died in hospital in circumstances deemed suspicious by activists while police continue to deny responsibility for her death.
His passing sparked a wave of anger in Iran, where protests against the "dictatorship" erupted across the country.
According to the NGO Iran Human Rights (IHR), more than 75 people were killed and more than 1,200 demonstrators were arrested in the repression of the protest.
