The young man was sentenced to death because he is accused of the murder of an official, stabbed during a demonstration in Shiraz in 2018.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is preparing to execute an innocent being.
It's called #NavidAfkari.
Navid is not a criminal.
He only demonstrated in the streets to show his displeasure with corruption.

500 unfair trials
Navid Afkari participated in this demonstration to denounce, like thousands of other people at the time, the dire economic situation in Iran.
According to his supporters, on social networks, he has nothing to do with this murder and would have been subjected to a forced confession after being tortured in prison.
... To the leaders of Iran, I would greatly appreciate if you would spare this young man's life, and not execute him.

His case is not isolated.
Amnesty International
has just published a report
according to which 7,000 people were arrested during large protests in 2019. The human rights organization has collected dozens of testimonies of torture in prison to extract confessions, 500 people are said to have been subjected to unfair trials.
