Iran .. Closure of 3 cafes in Qom that received non-veiled women

"Three cafes were closed in Qom due to numerous violations (of the law), especially because women did not wear headscarves," Tehran's municipal newspaper, Hamshahri, reported, citing a statement by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.

The newspaper pointed out that "the police summoned the owners of the cafes before the start of the legal procedures."

In this context, Iranian media pointed out last June that the police arrested girls who removed their headscarves during a sports gathering in the southern city of Shiraz, which is in violation of the measures imposed since 1979, when the "Islamic Revolution" in the country.
