"I am a candidate for the presidential election, so what I would like is that you ask me about my project and my status, not about what I wrote", replies the polemicist.

In his HQ, his supporters are convinced that he is the subject of special treatment.

"Mr. Bouleau, surprisingly, did not speak much of fact. Not a question about his project, his ideology. I am disappointed that Eric Zemmour could not develop further," explains one of his activists.

"Gilles Bouleau turned out to be a bad faith prosecutor"

The interview ended, a few tens of minutes later, the polemicist comes to greet his troops at HQ under standing ovations.

The opportunity to debrief this first interview as a candidate.

"If you saw all of Mr. Bouleau's interviews, you will see that in front of the others, he fades away. With me, he turned out to be a bad faith prosecutor. He did not do his job," says Eric. Zemmour.

The essayist was counting on this first solemn meeting to become president and speak to the French.

But not everything went as planned.

The next step for the neo-candidate arrives on Sunday, with his meeting at the Zénith in Paris.
