Food self-sufficiency, a priority for Finland

The war in Ukraine raises the issue of food shortages.
Finland, a country bordering Russia, is aware of the problem.
With a territory that has only 7% of agricultural land, one of the lowest shares in the OECD and a fairly harsh climate, she has been working for her food independence for a long time and has found solutions.

The Finns are self-sufficient in meat and cereals, unlike its Swedish neighbour, which has not displayed the same political will.
