Six months after overthrowing the government of Aung San Suu Kyi, the head of the military junta spoke on television on Sunday to commit to holding elections within two years, before August 2023. He also promises to cooperate with the special envoy of ASEAN to be appointed Monday by the countries of Southeast Asia.
