In addition to Seo-gu, Incheon, where the report was filed, larvae were confirmed in the tap water at a family home in Gyeyang-gu at the end of last month.

Incheon city said there was no problem in the area receiving water from other water purification plants except Gongchon Water Purification Plant, but in the case of Gyeyang-gu confirmed by SBS, it is receiving water from Bupyeong Water Purification Plant, not from Gongchon Water Purification Plant.
As the Bupyeong Water Purification Plant uses the same activated carbon filter as the Gongchon Water Purification Plant, Incheon City has notified residents of the area when it reports larvae.
