On April 7, the reporter learned from the Criminal Investigation Brigade of the Public Security Bureau of Xilinhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, that the local police went to Jinjiang City, Fujian Province to successfully detect a trans-provincial telecommunications network fraud case, destroyed a telecommunications network fraud den, and arrested criminal suspects 14 people.
On October 18, 2020, Wang Moumou reported to the police that he had been defrauded of more than 200,000 yuan when conducting online investment and financial management.
The Criminal Investigation Brigade of the Public Security Bureau of Xilinhot City found after preliminary investigations that this was a typical case of scams involving the killing of pigs on the victim's telecommunications network that induced the victim to invest on a false platform.
After receiving the report, the task force moved to more than 10 provinces and cities including Beijing, Tianjin, Anhui, and Shenzhen. It took more than 5 months to finally find out the situation of the criminal gang.
On April 1, 2021, the police successfully destroyed the criminal gang’s den in Jinjiang, arrested 14 suspects, seized more than 10 computers, more than 100 bank cards, and more than 40 mobile phones. The pig plate scams the criminal gang.
At present, the suspect has been escorted back to Xilinhot City, and the case is still being implemented.
