India now produces about 60% of the world's vaccines.

That is why it is called the'World Vaccine Factory', and it is known that India temporarily suspended the export of AstraZeneca vaccine to supply domestic demand.

It is expected that the supply of vaccines around the world as well as the UK, where delivery has already been delayed, will be disrupted.

BBC reported that India has decided to temporarily suspend exports of AstraZeneca vaccine.

The BBC broadcast said that India's diplomatic news agency said "domestic demand should come first," and that exports are expected to be delayed until the end of April.

The DPA news agency also cited the World Vaccine Immunity Association and predicted that the supply of vaccines that were scheduled to be delivered to Kovacs by April will be disrupted.

KOVAX plans to distribute a total of 237 million doses of vaccine between March and May, as India produces more than 100 million doses.

India's decision to stop exporting vaccines is due to the severe corona 19 situation in their country, which is largely due to the expansion of vaccinations that were originally only allowed for chronically ill patients aged 60 or older to all citizens aged 45 years or older from the 1st of next month.

[Jabadekar/India Minister of Information and Communication (last 23rd): Everyone over 45 should get the vaccine as soon as possible.

The vaccine can also be used by enough personnel.]

Delivery to the UK, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and Morocco has already been delayed due to the suspension of exports from India.

More than 190 countries, including these countries, are likely to have a disruption in vaccine supply by at least next month.

UNICEF said the supply of AstraZeneca vaccine produced in Korea is also less than expected.
