BBC reported that India has decided to temporarily suspend exports of AstraZeneca vaccine.
The BBC broadcast said that India's diplomatic news agency said "domestic demand should come first," and that exports are expected to be delayed until the end of April.
The DPA news agency also cited the World Vaccine Immunity Association and predicted that the supply of vaccines that were scheduled to be delivered to Kovacs by April will be disrupted.
KOVAX plans to distribute a total of 237 million doses of vaccine between March and May, as India produces more than 100 million doses.
India's decision to stop exporting vaccines is due to the severe situation of Corona 19 in their country, and it is largely due to the expansion of vaccinations, which were originally only allowed for chronically ill patients aged 60 or older, to all citizens aged 45 years or older from the 1st of next month.
