Incheon-Wuhan, which was blocked by the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19), will reopen after 8 months.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on the 15th, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport made a decision to permit T'way Air to operate the Incheon-Wuhan route the day before.

T'way Air recently obtained a quarantine certificate from the local government of China and a flight permit from the Civil Aviation Bureau of China, and applied for a flight permit from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport the day before.

T'way Air is scheduled to start operating once a week starting on the 16th according to the permission of the aviation authorities of both Korea and China.

It has been 8 months since January this year that the sky path to Wuhan, which was designated as the source of Corona 19, will open.

Previously, Korean Air and China Southern Airlines had operated the route four times a week, but as Corona 19 spread rapidly, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has completely banned regular routes from January 23rd.

In addition, T'way Air was scheduled to operate the route from January 21 of this year by distributing the transportation ticket for the route last year, but could not even launch the first flight due to the aftermath of Corona 19.

An official from the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs said, "Wuhan, an industrial city, is a place where Korean-Chinese businessmen come and go, and there were many requests to resume international routes that were suspended due to Corona 19. We will support more international flights to be resumed."
