It was estimated that an accident occurred when a tank-rory vehicle exploded at the Incheon Chemical Factory and one person was killed and eight others were injured.

The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency's Metropolitan Investigation Service said today that it is investigating the officials of the chemicals and chemical suppliers who were injecting chemicals at the time of the accident.

The police secured a statement from them saying, "Sodium hydroxide was injected incorrectly into the factory storage where hydrogen peroxide was put in."

The police presumed that an accident occurred when a chemical supplier inadvertently inadvertently injected a drug, and factory officials attempted to take out another drug's tanker truck and take out the wrong drug.

During this process, sodium hydroxide and chemicals in the tank-lorry vehicle reacted, and the accident was investigated further.

The police also confirm that safety regulations have been followed by factory officials in the process.

The explosion occurred yesterday (21st) at 8:50 in the evening on a tank-rory vehicle at STK Chemical's chemical production plant in Gajwa-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon.

The accident killed a 50-year-old factory worker, Mr. B, and 45 others, including Mr. B, were injured.

In addition, a part of the second-floor factory building where the tank lorry was parked collapsed.

Eight injured persons also included one firefighter who was conducting a search at the accident site, and the remaining seven were identified as factory workers or chemicals workers.

Incheon Firefighting Headquarters held the first joint site inspection at the accident site from 10:00 am today with related organizations such as the police, and plans to conduct a second round of identification with the National Institute of Scientific Investigation soon.
