“In the city of Tynda and the Tyndinsky District, an emergency mode has been introduced due to incessant rainfall,” RIA Novosti quotes a statement from the department.
The Ministry of Transport also reported that two bridges were washed away in Tynda as a result of heavy rains.
In addition, the authorities decided to evacuate 26 people.
Earlier, the Nevskiye Novosti agency reported that an “orange” level of danger was declared in St. Petersburg due to rain.
