In the case of the Pfizer vaccine, a study showed that the effectiveness of the Pfizer vaccine drops to 60% after 6 months after the second dose.
There are also concerns that if the U.S. increases the interval between the third booster dose to six months, the global vaccine supply, which is still lacking, may be further reduced in the winter when the spread of the corona is more active.
