Firefighters rescued a 9-year-old child who fell into a well on Wednesday in Aramon (Gard).

According to the Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS), this young boy fell about 8 meters high, and found himself stuck at the bottom.

A large rescue team has been engaged, including a team from the Hazardous Environment Reconnaissance and Intervention Group (Grimp) and a team of divers.

Luckily, the child was in charge quickly and was only slightly injured.

He was evacuated by an ambulance to the hospital in Avignon (Vaucluse).
