　　From January to May, the postal industry business income (excluding the direct operating income of the Postal Savings Bank) completed a total of 502.24 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.3%; the total business volume completed a total of 523.08 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 37.3%.

　　In May, the industry-wide business revenue was 105.19 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.6%; the total business volume was 113.24 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.0%.

　　From January to May, the total postal service business volume was 91.26 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.3%; the postal delivery service business volume was 10.61 billion pieces, a year-on-year decrease of 0.2%; the postal delivery service business income was 16.21 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease 10.9%.

　　In May, the total postal service business volume completed 15.03 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3%; the postal delivery service volume completed 2.16 billion pieces, an increase of 1.9% year-on-year; the postal delivery service business revenue completed 3.01 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 11.8%.

　　From January to May, the total business volume of express service companies across the country completed 39.65 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 50.1%; business income totaled 392.58 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.7%.

Among them, the intra-city business volume has completed 5.08 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 14.4%; the off-site business volume has completed 33.65 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 57.6%; the international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan business volume has completed a total of 910 million pieces, a year-on-year increase of 49.8%.

　　In May, the business volume of express service enterprises nationwide was 9.22 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 24.9%; business income was 86.42 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.0%.

　　From January to May, intra-city, inter-city, and international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan express delivery services accounted for 12.8%, 84.9%, and 2.3% of all express delivery business volume; business income accounted for 8%, 50.5%, and 12.9% of all express delivery business income, respectively.

Compared with the same period last year, the proportion of intra-city express delivery business decreased by 4%, the proportion of inter-city express delivery business increased by 4%, and the proportion of international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan business was basically the same.

　　From January to May, the proportion of express delivery business in the eastern, central, and western regions was 78.5%, 14.2%, and 7.3%, respectively, and the proportion of business revenue was 78.5%, 12.7%, and 8.8%, respectively.

Compared with the same period last year, the proportion of express delivery business in the eastern region fell by 1.6%, and the proportion of express business revenue fell by 1.5%; the proportion of express business in the central region increased by 1.7%, and the proportion of express business revenue rose by 1.3%; the proportion of express delivery business in the western region The proportion of volume dropped by 0.1%, and the proportion of express delivery business revenue rose by 0.2%.
