"The Smolninsky District Court of St. Petersburg has extended the detention period by 72 hours for Marina Kohal," the message says.

It is clarified that the investigation believes that Kohal should be placed in a pre-trial detention center.

At the same time, the primary cause of Yushko's death has not yet been established.

Earlier, Kohal was detained in St. Petersburg on suspicion of the murder of her husband. On the eve of the UK, she was charged with the murder of her husband.

On July 30, the dismembered body of Alexander Yushko was found in an apartment on Nevsky Prospekt, where he lived with his wife and child.
