“Over the past day, 169 forest fires on an area of ​​​​more than 9.3 thousand hectares have been eliminated in Russia,” Interfax reports.

It is noted that almost 90% of controlled natural fires in Russia occur in the Kurgan and Amur regions, as well as in the Khabarovsk Territory.

Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that in almost all federal districts of Russia, with the exception of the Central, a difficult fire situation is predicted for the upcoming May holidays.
