From Monday, many historic sites and museums will indeed reopen their doors to welcome the public after three months of closure. Even if some have played the virtual card and the remote visit during these months of confinement, that is not all. And many intend to make up for lost time while composing without foreign tourists. 20 Minutes draws up an inventory of tourist sites in the capital, in order of reopening in the coming days, while the Grand Palais will open on July 1 and the Louvre on July 6.

Palais de Tokyo (16th arrondissement)

This Monday, visitors to the Palais de Tokyo will be invited to discover the work of the artist Futura 2000, legend of American graffiti, and to see or watch again, exhibitions which will be extended until September 13, 2020. These exhibitions "resonate" with the crisis we are going through, ”highlights the Palais, citing in particular the exhibition Notre monde brûlule . Or a cry of alert launched against the convulsions of the world and which offers a committed look at contemporary creation from the Persian Gulf. It is compulsory to wear a mask within the museum, gel is made available to visitors who must finally keep a distance of one meter between them.

Arc de Triomphe (8th arrondissement)

The Arc de Triomphe, too, will find its audience this Monday. The emblematic monument of the Champs-Elysées, located on Place de l'Etoile, reopens. "We are doing everything possible to welcome you soon in optimal security conditions while respecting the provisions in force", indicates for the moment the management of the monument which nevertheless confirms the reopening of the place on Monday.

Pavillon de l'Arsenal (4th arrondissement)

On June 16, the Pavillon de l'Arsenal reopens. The Musée d'Orsay will reopen on June 23, with the two exhibitions James Tissot, the Ambigu Modern (1836-1902) until September 13 and In the Land of Monsters. Léopold Chauveau (1870-1940) , extended until September 13. Note that wearing a mask (not provided by the museum) is compulsory for all audiences from 11 years old. Hydroalcoholic gel will be made available to visitors at the entrance to the museum.

Eiffel Tower (7th arrondissement)

The Eiffel Tower will reopen to the public from June 25, but only up to the 2nd floor, with the wearing of a mandatory mask for adults and mounted only by the stairs. "After more than three months of closure in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, the longest closure since World War II, the Eiffel Tower will reopen to the public on June 25, 2020 at 10 am," announced Tuesday the company operating the monument on its website.
