The tension has risen again a notch in the Nantes districts, in particular in that of Dervallières, to the north-west of the city.
This Wednesday afternoon, around 5:30 p.m., a young man was hit by gunfire in the middle of the street, near the imposing Watteau building.
The victim, aged 17, would have received two bullets in the upper body, indicates the parquet floor of Nantes.
She was taken to hospital in what was considered a “serious” condition.
The judicial police have been seized of the investigation.
The suspect(s) are on the run.
Plagued by traffic
The mayor of Nantes, Johanna Rolland (PS), immediately went there, as did the prefect of Loire-Atlantique.

All public authorities must take stock of what is happening in Nantes.

The Watteau building is well known to the police for the drug trafficking it hosts.
Last week, a major police operation was organized there due to the presence of a long weapon, captured by CCTV images.
