In honor of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and under the direction of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the UAE provided urgent medical assistance to the brotherly Lebanese people, to support efforts to combat the pandemic "Coffed 19" .
The assistance included 12 tons of examination devices and medical supplies to support medical teams and workers in the field of medical services, by providing personal and preventive protection tools, and diagnostic devices "Covid 19", as well as supporting preventive precautionary measures, as this aid will enable more than 10,000 teams Medical and front-line workers in the health sectors to carry out their tasks and enhance their efforts to contain the spread of the virus.
Aid related to "Corona" comes in the framework of solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese people and the alleviation of health conditions, as well as within the series of humanitarian response operations undertaken by the UAE to support brotherly and friendly countries in the face of "Covid 19".
It is worth noting that the UAE provided medical assistance to combat the "Corona" epidemic for 92 countries by providing nearly 1,250 tons, which enabled more than 1.2 million medical teams and front lines to carry out their daily tasks.
