"

The exceptions raised by the defense are only tricks to delay the trial and prevent us from getting to the bottom of the case

," said Alpha Amadou DS Bah, lawyer for the civil parties.

On the other side, the defense lawyers say: “

We have faith in the relevance of the arguments that we have developed here.

We simply regret that our clients, including Moussa Dadis Camara, remain in prison for another five days.

»

However, the court decided to postpone the hearing in order to allow deliberation on the relevance of the claims raised by the defendants' lawyers.

The decision will be made on October 10.

When the dismissal of this trial was announced, former President Moussa Dadis Camara, who expected his placement under house arrest, fumed.

In the box of the accused, he let his anger burst seeing that he would not benefit from any preferential treatment.
