In Germany, the maximum increase in cases of COVID-19 was recorded per day

In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, COVID-19 has been confirmed in 8,460,546 residents of Germany. 

During the day, 170 patients died from the effects of coronavirus, the total number of deaths reached 116,485.

Earlier, German Health Minister Karl Lauterbach said that the omicron strain of coronavirus poses an increased danger to the German healthcare system.
