The circumstances of the tragedy remain to be clarified.

This Sunday morning around 7 a.m. in Wisches (Bas-Rhin), 45 km west of Strasbourg, a 27-year-old man fell nearly 15 meters after climbing a 60,000-volt electricity pylon, at the level from the county road to Russ.

According to the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Bas-Rhin (Sdis 67), the fall would have been the result of an electrocution.

Quickly taken care of by the emergency services, the victim was transported in absolute urgency to the university hospital center of Hautepierre, in Strasbourg.
