In 2022, China's economy will still be "the best scenery here"

  Choose far

2021 is coming to an end. This year, my country's economic recovery has achieved significant results, high-quality development has made significant progress, and the strong resilience and vigor of economic development continue to appear. Looking forward to 2022, my country's economic development will still have strong resilience.

  Resilience comes from "stable".

At this year’s Central Economic Work Conference, "stability" has become the main thread throughout the article: "Macro policies must be sound and effective", "We must continue to implement a proactive fiscal policy and a prudent monetary policy", and "We must continue to do a good job in the'six stability' and six guarantees. "Work, especially the main body of the market to ensure employment and people's livelihood protection" "Expand high-level opening up, take multiple measures to stabilize foreign trade, ensure the stability of the industrial chain supply chain, and increase the intensity of attracting foreign investment"...

"Stable action" can "reach far", which requires a more active and enterprising attitude to promote the coordination between "stability" and "progress" and promote high-quality economic development.

Nowadays, a series of powerful measures centering on the word "stable" are being implemented one after another, and the accuracy of the measures is constantly improving.

For example, in terms of promoting the stable development of foreign trade, the State Council executive meeting held a few days ago proposed to further expand opening up, launch measures to deal with difficulties and challenges, do a good job in cross-cycle adjustments, help enterprises to relieve difficulties, especially support small, medium and micro enterprises, and strive to ensure orders and stability. It is expected to promote the stable development of foreign trade.

It can be expected that, driven by "stability", China's economy will still be "the scenery is unique."

  Resilience comes from innovation.

In order to "strengthen" the Chinese economy, innovation and development are indispensable.

As the first year of the "14th Five-Year Plan", innovation is lighting up a new journey.

Some major scientific and technological achievements have attracted worldwide attention, and some technology-intensive and high value-added products have grown rapidly.

According to the "2021 Global Innovation Index Report" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report") released by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), China ranks 12th, up 2 places from 2020.

At the same time, the "Report" highly appraised China's progress in innovation and emphasized the importance of government decision-making and incentive measures to promote innovation.

Looking ahead to 2022, innovation will continue to exert strength.

The Central Economic Work Conference clearly pointed out that no matter how the international situation changes, we must unswervingly do our own affairs, continue to strengthen the economic foundation, and enhance the capacity for scientific and technological innovation.

And make arrangements for innovation: to strengthen the position of the main body of enterprise innovation, deepen the integration of industry, university and research; improve and optimize the ecology of scientific and technological innovation, and form a solid scientific research style; to enhance the core competitiveness of the manufacturing industry, a number of industrial infrastructure reengineering projects should be initiated to stimulate the emergence of a A large number of "specialized and special new" enterprises...

It can be expected that future innovations will continue to stimulate the sustained growth of China's economy.

As Liu Yuanchun, the vice president of Renmin University of China, said: "The next two years are a critical period for China's economy to transform from traditional factor-driven to innovation-driven. The next step is to rely on technology investment and R&D investment to drive GDP growth."

  Resilience comes from reform.

Looking back on 2021, we will comprehensively deepen reforms and make multiple breakthroughs, and build new advantages in the endogenous power of development.

In 2022, reforms will continue to advance in depth: we must deepen the supply-side structural reforms; we must do a good job in the pilot comprehensive reform of the market-oriented allocation of factors, fully implement the stock issuance registration system, and complete the three-year action task for the reform of state-owned enterprises; we must deepen reforms in key areas ...

The series of "hard measures" proposed by the Central Economic Work Conference will be a "propeller" for building a new development pattern, and will continue to shape new advantages and stimulate new vitality for the high-quality development of China's economy.

Some international organizations and foreign institutions are also optimistic about China’s economy: The IMF and World Bank’s forecasts for China’s GDP growth in 2022 are 5.6% and 5.4%, which are 0.7 percentage points and 1% higher than the global growth forecasts, respectively. Percentage points; Deutsche Bank expects China's economic growth rate next year to be about 5.3%; Credit Suisse expects China's economic growth rate next year to be 6.1%... Behind this is a full affirmation of the resilience of China's economic development.
