Ice hockey raises the UAE's tally to 40 medals in the "Kuwait Gulf"

The ice hockey team raised the UAE's tally in the third Gulf Games hosted by Kuwait until the 31st of this month, to 40 colored medals, after beating its Bahraini counterpart 7-2, and achieving the full mark as the leader of the group.

The team outperformed the three teams it faced, namely Saudi Arabia, the silver medalist, Kuwait, which won the bronze in third place, and the Bahraini team, emphasizing its worth to win the gold medal and be crowned champion of the game in the Gulf Tournament.
