Ibaraki Prefecture and Mito City announced on the 20th that they have confirmed that 33 new people have been infected with the new coronavirus, and so far, a total of 7517 people have been confirmed to be infected in the prefecture.
In addition, 10 of the confirmed infections by the 20th were found to have been infected with the mutated coronavirus.
Infection with the mutated virus in the prefecture has now been confirmed in 132 people.
