Hyundai-Kia E-GMP -

DR

This platform, called E-GMP for “Electric-Global Modular Platform” will serve as a basis for the group's future electric vehicles.

And the least we can write is that the numbers are promising.

A high-performance model should thus see the light of day, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 3.5 seconds and 260 km / h at peak speed.

Thanks to the optimal weight distribution and the low center of gravity, handling also promises to be at the top.

The E-GMP maximizes interior space thanks to its long wheelbase, short overhangs and batteries installed under the floor.

The occupants thus have better legroom and can benefit from different seat configurations.

Customers can also choose between rear-wheel drive or 4x4 versions.

Very fast charge

But the major characteristic of this new platform is to be ready for systems with a load capacity of 800 V. Enough to recover 400 km of autonomy in… 18 minutes!

Best of all, E-GMP can run power in both directions.

Concretely, it can be recharged at a terminal, but also serve as a terminal to recharge another electric vehicle, for example.
