Major League Baseball Toronto Blue Jays' Hyunjin Ryu and his wife Bae Ji-hyeon, a former announcer, are expecting their second child.
Aspect Corporation, in charge of Ryu Hyun-jin's management, said, "Former announcer Bae Ji-hyun gave birth to a healthy son in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at 6:53 pm local time on the 29th. Both mother and child are healthy."
Ryu Hyun-jin said through her agency, "Although she is busy with her rehabilitation, she is grateful and happy that both her wife and son are healthy."
Hyunjin Ryu and Bae Ji-hyeon, a former announcer who got married in January 2018, gave birth to a daughter in May 2020, and their second son was born two years and four months after they had a precious daughter.
