hydrogen wolf

At night, things go round on the mountain, when the snow groomers hum and burn diesel fuel.

Almost two years ago, Prinoth, one of the suppliers of such heavy equipment, presented the first snow groomer with a hydrogen fuel cell, the Leitwolf H2 Motion.

The Vipiteno-based company is now announcing a powerful variant with a hydrogen combustion engine designed for larger ski areas.

The 13-liter six-cylinder developed by FPT Industrial has an output of 338 kW (460 hp) and offers up to 2000 Nm of torque.

The hydrogen is stored in five tanks located at the rear of the vehicle.

Prinoth also announced that the lighter, electric snow groomer Husky eMotion is now going into series production.
