Hwang Seon-woo, the hope of Korean swimming, won a silver medal in the 200m freestyle at the World Championships.
It is the first medal in 11 years since Park Tae-hwan.

Hwang Seon-woo took a deep breath in the waiting room just before the game to relax, and then took off on the final stage of the first long course world championship with a calm look.
Hwang Seon-woo, who climbed onto the starting platform in lane 3, jumped into the water with the fastest reaction speed of 0.61 seconds when the departure buzzer sounded.
After the first 50m section, he passed 4th up to the 100m and then slowly picked up speed.
He made 150m turns and sprinted hard, climbing to 3rd.
As he passed 170 meters, he overtook London Olympic gold medalist Tom Dean to take second place, breaking the waters with all his might to the end.
He didn't catch up with lead Popovich, but he hit the touchpad for the second time at 1:44.47.
Hwang Seon-woo, who broke the Korean record set by himself at the Tokyo Olympics last year by 0.15 seconds, won the first medal as a Korean management athlete after Park Tae-hwan's 400m freestyle gold medal in 2011.
In the 200m freestyle event, he surpassed Park Tae-hwan's bronze medal in 2007 to record the best performance ever.
