China News Agency, Shanghai, October 30 (Reporter Liu Yuying) Despite having experienced three US sanctions, Huawei still released the Mate40 series of flagship mobile phones.

In response to three US sanctions on the 30th, Huawei’s consumer business CEO Yu Chengdong said that no matter how difficult the situation is, Huawei’s business must continue.

Huawei held a conference on the Mate40 series of mobile phones for the Chinese market in Shanghai on the 30th.

A global online press conference was held on the 22nd.

According to the price released on the 30th, the price of Mate40 in the Chinese market is significantly lower than in the European market.

For example, Mate40 starts at 4999 yuan (RMB, the same below) in China, while the European market is 899 euros (about 7025 yuan); Mate40Pro starts at 6499 yuan in China and 1199 euros (about 9370 yuan) in the European market.

The Mate40 series of mobile phones have many innovations, such as improvements in screens, photography, fast charging, sub-meter lane navigation, and hardware support for digital currency, selfie flash ring, AI subtitles, and so on.

The Kirin 9000 on Mate40 represents China's top mobile phone chip design and is the world's first 5G SOC chip with a 5nm process technology.

Yu Chengdong said that this chip integrates 15.3 billion transistors, 30% more than Apple's A14.

In 2019, Huawei sold 240 million mobile phones.

Due to the US ban, Yu Chengdong previously stated that this may be Huawei's last high-end mobile phone chip.

Mate40 is therefore also known as the "swan song" of Huawei's high-end mobile phones.

Yu Chengdong said that Huawei's mobile phone sales have fallen due to the ban.

However, Mate40's booking volume has exceeded the supply capacity, and it is currently working overtime to produce.

In addition to mobile phones, Huawei has also released a series of smart home products such as smart speakers, smart trolley boxes, smart desk lamps, wearable devices, smart watches, headsets, and Huawei smart car solutions.

"After three rounds of sanctions, Huawei still released flagship products, and there will be better products to be launched in the future," Yu Chengdong said.

"Hu Yang Lin" is the key word of the press conference.

The two colors of the appearance of Mate40 Populus euphratica and Populus euphratica are derived from the Populus euphratica tree.

A story about Hu Yanglin shot with a Mate40 mobile phone was broadcast at the press conference.

In addition, Huawei also cooperates with non-profit organizations to protect Populus euphratica forest.

"Populus euphratica, the strongest plant in the desert. Its life will not die in a thousand years; it will not fall in a thousand years; it will be immortal in a thousand years." Yu Chengdong said that Huawei wants to learn from the spirit of the Populus euphratica forest.
