For many years Windows users had to rely on a third-party security tool to keep their computers protected from viruses and malware, but now the operating system from Microsoft comes with its own package, in the form of Windows Security software.
A report published by the American "Wired" magazine stated that the new program is designed to work quietly and efficiently in the background, and you may not notice its presence, but it is important to know how to keep your computer safe, and to pay attention to the various options that it provides for you.
The site states that although you can add additional security programs to Windows if you wish, Windows Security should protect you from viruses, so you can open it from the Start menu or by clicking its icon in the alerts area.
