In this regard, Ma Li, deputy director of the Industrial Development Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, said that during the survey, it was found that some scripted entertainment business activities did appear in various degrees of pornography, blood, violence and other undesirable content.
In response to these problems, the "Notice of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Emergency Management, the Ministry of Emergency Management, and the General Administration of Market Supervision on Strengthening the Management of Playground Entertainment Business Sites" insists on both positive guidance and enhanced supervision.
One is to stick to the correct orientation.
Script entertainment venues are required to use healthy and positive scripts, and encourage the use of scripts that promote the main theme and spread positive energy.
The second is to strengthen the main responsibility.
Script entertainment business venues are required to establish a content self-examination system. Not only the script script must be sourced from legal sources and have no problematic content, but also the content self-examination of the performance of the host and actors, the scenes set up in the venue, the props used, the costumes provided, etc. .
At present, we guide relevant industry associations to formulate and improve the relevant norms for self-examination of the content of scripted entertainment business activities for reference and use by venues.
The third is to draw a red line on the content.
It is clear that scripted entertainment activities shall not contain content prohibited by laws and regulations such as the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Minors, the Regulations on the Administration of Entertainment Places, and the Regulations on the Administration of Commercial Performances.
To ensure content management is in place, we have a one-year policy transition period.
During the policy transition period, script entertainment business sites shall conduct self-examination and self-correction, conduct content self-examination and evaluation of script scripts, and remove those that do not meet the requirements from the shelves.
The cultural and tourism administrative department will carry out a thorough investigation with relevant departments, and if it finds any content prohibited by laws and regulations, it will order the business unit to make corrections and stop using the relevant script.
After the transition period, special inspections will be organized and routine inspections will be strengthened. If problems are found during inspections, they will be dealt with in a timely manner in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, standards, and notification requirements.
