They do not want to miss out on deconfinement and hope to see tourists once again land in force between the Rhône and the Saône.
To boost tourism and "restore the desire" to come and discover or rediscover the city, Only Lyon and the hoteliers have planned a promotional offer.
Visitors booking a room, "a second night is free," says the tourist office.
For the moment, 45 establishments in the metropolis, from guest rooms to 5-star hotels, are offering this promotional offer to their customers, for leisure stays for two made between June 1 and August 31 inclusive.
"The stated objective of the operation is to encourage visitors to come to Lyon as soon as the tourist sites reopen and to trigger short-term leisure stays during the summer period", specifies Only Lyon, whose action s 'part of the tourism recovery plan.
To benefit from this offer, visitors simply need to book two consecutive nights on the event page and they will only pay for the first.
