[Explanation] To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 24th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to the motherland, the Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers and the Hong Kong Flag Raising Squad Association invited the Hong Kong Troops’ guard of honor to host a solemn flag-raising ceremony at Pei Kiu Middle School on July 1. In order to further cultivate students' civic awareness of loving the country and Hong Kong, and enhance their homeland feelings.

Approximately 100 people attended the event, including alumni, primary, secondary and kindergarten students.
