The vaccination records issued by Indonesia and the Philippines will also be recognized from September 1.

  According to news from the Information Service of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government on the 30th, the COVID-19 digital pass mechanism has been implemented among EU member countries. The approved vaccination records required for boarding and coming to Hong Kong in designated areas of the High Risk Group A of the Transportation and Arrivals Regulations.

In this regard, the European Union recently announced that under this mechanism, the vaccination records issued by North Macedonia, San Marino, Turkey, Ukraine and the Vatican are equivalent to those issued by EU member states, and the Hong Kong SAR government will also accept it from 0:00 on September 1.

  In addition, after the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Indonesian and Philippine governments confirmed the arrangements for accreditation of vaccination records, starting at 0:00 on September 1, Hong Kong residents who hold vaccination records confirmed by the relevant authorities of the two countries will be You can board from the designated area in Group A to come to Hong Kong.

The spokesperson of the SAR government reminded that foreign domestic helpers who have vaccination records confirmed by the competent authorities of Indonesia and the Philippines must abide by the quarantine arrangements announced by the SAR government on August 26, including 21-day compulsory quarantine at designated quarantine facilities.

  According to Hong Kong law, Hong Kong residents who have stayed in the designated areas of Group A, if they have completed vaccination and hold approved vaccination records, and meet other boarding requirements, can board the plane and come to Hong Kong, and must comply with quarantine arrangements including: quarantine at designated Compulsory quarantine at the hotel for 21 days; 6 tests during the compulsory quarantine period; self-monitoring for the next 7 days; and compulsory testing at the community testing center on the 26th day of arrival in Hong Kong.
