July 1 marks the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland.

At 8 a.m., the Hong Kong SAR government held a flag-raising ceremony at Golden Bauhinia Square to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland.

At the ceremony, the honor guard and marching team of the Hong Kong Disciplined Forces entered the stadium with Chinese-style marching. The SAR Government Flying Service helicopter flying the national flag and the regional flag flew over the Victoria Harbour.

It is reported that from now on, the Hong Kong disciplined forces will fully switch to Chinese-style marching.
