[Explanation] On March 13, the fourth community isolation facility in Fanling, Hong Kong, assisted by the central government, was delivered for use.

It is reported that the project is located on Ma Shi Road, Fanling, New Territories, Hong Kong. The land is lent by the developer for the SAR government to build temporary isolation facilities. It covers an area of ​​about 20,000 square meters and has a construction area of ​​about 7,400 square meters.

After the Fanling Community Isolation Facility is put into use, it will provide more than 350 isolation rooms and more than 1,000 isolation beds, which will further enhance Hong Kong's ability to treat patients with new coronary pneumonia.

  [Explanation] According to the design and builder China State Construction International Group, the construction of the Fanling Community Isolation Facility started on February 23 and lasted 17 days. All on-site construction was completed on March 11, and the project acceptance was completed on March 12.

Project construction personnel implement two shifts, 24 hours of uninterrupted construction.

  [Explanation] In this regard, Ho Wing-xian, Director of the Architectural Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, said that thanks to the support of the central government and the strong support of the mainland construction team, this isolation facility could be successfully constructed in a short period of time.

We need to provide enough beds, so each piece of land cannot be wasted, and we must find a way to use it up (land ), how to increase the number of beds, and the third is to do this with the entire team behind it.

  [Explanation] The reporter saw at the scene that the community isolation facility is composed of modular box houses. Each room is equipped with basic furniture and bedding, air conditioners, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and other facilities. The facility became operational on the same day it was handed over to the SAR government.

  [Explanation] It is reported that of the 9 community isolation facilities in Hong Kong aided by the central government, 6 community isolation facilities were put into service within March, providing about 20,000 hospital beds.

Among them, Tsing Yi, San Tin, Fanling Ma Shi Road, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port Artificial Island projects have been delivered and put into operation, the facilities of Hung Shui Bridge will be put into service in the next few days, and the Tam Mei project in Yuen Long will be opened in late March .
