50 points to win

A team of four forms.

But first, what are the rules of mölkky?

"You have to make 50 points and to do that, you have to knock down pins," explains one of the players.

"If we exceed 50, we go back to 25, but we are still in play. If we miss three times in a row, we are eliminated. We have zero points."

It is therefore necessary to know how to count, and to remain attentive.

"At first, we get there," he says, but "sometimes, a little later in the day or in the evening, it can get more complicated," laughs the player.

"It's paid off", exclaims one of them, which means "it's well done", since one of the players tried a hard pin, and got it.

Conviviality, friendship and competition

They are installed in a bowling alley, where petanque was initially played.

The two sports are often compared, although there are many differences.

“There are a lot of them,” confirms one of the players.

"There are many more mölkky scenarios, many more possible gestures."

Back to the game in progress, where the players are "not too bad".

"The good thing about mölkky is that it's both tactical and technical, you have to manage to combine the two."

Are there any values in the molkky?

"Conviviality, friendship", lists one of the players, but also of the competition, "more and more."

Unfortunately, this time, the win is not there, "we lost, we did what we could", console the players.

And to conclude, one of the players assures him: "At mölkky, everything is possible."
