The breakdown is 112 in Sapporo, 4 in Otaru, 8 in Asahikawa, 19 in Ishikari, 5 in Okhotsk, 4 in Kamikawa, 3 in Sorachi, and 2 in Iburi. There is one in the Tokachi region, one in the Kushiro region, and one in the Nemuro region.



This is the first time that the number of confirmed infections in Hokkaido has reached 160 per day since 164 on January 20th.



In addition, the city of Sapporo announced that a total of six men and women in their 70s and 90s, who had been confirmed to be infected, had died by the 24th.



This brings the total number of infected people in Hokkaido to 23,160, of which 832 have died.
