Hoffenheim hardens Bayern by foursome and spoils his celebrations of the European Super Cup

Quadruple champions Bayern Munich suffered a shock 4-1 defeat to Hoffenheim in the German Football League today, Sunday, to end their unbeaten record in 32 games in all competitions since last year.

Bayern, the European Super Cup winner against Sevilla after extra time on Thursday, has not lost since December 7, 2019 and has played 21 consecutive league games without a defeat, including winning in the last 15 games.

But the European champion's net was shaken twice within eight minutes as his solid defense collapsed in front of Hoffenheim's pressure as Ermin Peccicic gave the home side a lead in the 16th minute before Mounis Dabour added the second goal.

Joshua Kimmich narrowed the gap with a superb shot in the 36th minute, then Bayern squandered many chances to equalize in the second half.

Andrej Kramaric, who had hit the post earlier, ended Bayern's hopes of returning by scoring the third goal in the 77th minute, after receiving a cross pass and his back to the goal and turned around to put it in the net of Manuel Neuer.

Croatian Karamaric added the fourth goal from the penalty spot in stoppage time to give Hoffenheim a memorable win.
