This winter, we saw a lot fewer bikers on the roads of Hauts-de-France.

Except that with the good weather, the motorized two-wheelers stored for a few months in the garage are out again.

This sometimes results in certain excesses, in particular speeding, like this pilot controlled at more than 200 km/h on a departmental road in the Oise.

The gendarmes of the Oise have indeed noted it, "the favorable weather was conducive to the return of motorcycles to the Isarian roads".

And on Friday, during a speed control operation, it was a man riding a gleaming Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade who caught the eye of the military.

Or rather in the optics of their radar.

“The Fireblade is in its element on the circuit”

On the departmental road between Clermont and Creil, the pilot was checked at 209 km / h.

Fortunately for him, this section of road is limited to 110 km/h or instead of 80. However, excessive speed remains very high, punishable by a fine of 1,500 euros and a withdrawal of 6 points .

The biker will not escape either a suspension of his driving license and the immobilization of his racing car at 22,000 euros.

The pilot should have followed the recommendations of the manufacturer of his machine: “Born for racing, the Fireblade is in its element on the circuit”.
