It was on January 20 this year that the man was arrested at a forest grove in Hallstahammar at night.
The police then suspected that the man was storing drugs in the forest and searched the grove with a dog.
In addition to drugs, the police also found a revolver and ammunition in the forest.
The police also conducted a house search in the man's apartment and basement storage and found even more drugs.
The man in his 30s has admitted that he handled and possessed the drugs and the revolver.
Västmanland District Court now convicts the man of a serious drug crime and a serious gun crime.
He is sentenced to six years and six months in prison.
