A record heavy rain flood in inland China, Henan Province, has so far killed 25 people and left 7 missing.

More than 1.2 million people have been affected by the disaster, and the Chinese government is in full swing of rescue operations.

According to the state-owned China Central Television, heavy rains have been intermittent since 17th of this month in the inland Henan province.

In the central city of Zhengzhou, the hourly rainfall by 5 pm on the 20th, local time, exceeded 200 mm, the highest in the history of observation.

The heavy rain caused floods in various parts of the country, of which 12 people were confirmed dead in the tunnel in the Zhengzhou subway.

A series of landslides and collapsed houses have killed 25 people, 7 people are missing, and more than 1.2 million people have been affected.
