Monday evening, around 11 p.m., the driver of a Tisséo bus was attacked while he was at the terminus of his line, in Colomiers, west of Toulouse.

He was heading towards a technical room when a man jostled him and threatened him with death.

Hearing the noise, the driver's colleagues interrupted the assault and scared the perpetrator away.

The police, called, went to the scene.

While questioning the Tisséo agents, she discovered that the assailant was back on site to explain himself.

Angry, he wanted to do battle with the driver, who over the weekend denied him access to his bus.

The 28-year-old did not have a ticket or money to pay for one.

According to his statements to the police, instead of taking the bus, he had to walk home.

And on the roadside, he claims to have almost been run over and explains his return to the scene by his anger towards the driver who had applied the instructions.

He was arrested and was still in custody Tuesday afternoon.
